Bush Administration Officials to Discuss Hurricane Recovery Efforts in the Energy Sector
WASHINGTON, DC – On January 19-20, 2006, the Department of Energy will host the Energy Leadership Forum in Tunica, MS, bringing together local energy utility representatives, government officials and other key players in the hurricane recovery efforts to discuss response, lessons learned, and how best to strengthen America’s energy infrastructure.
Currently, Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman, Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Stephen L. Johnson, and Deputy Secretary of Transportation Maria Cino are scheduled to speak.
