Otter Tail Power Company - Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Grant Program

Otter Tail Power Company Grants for Conservation Program allows its commercial and industrial customers to submit energy-saving proposals and receive grants for their custom efficiency projects.
Possibilities include but are not limited to:
* Changing the compressed air system
* Adding chiller equipment
* Adding variable-frequency drives
* Making process improvements
* Installing heat pumps and MVRs
* Improving the lighting system
* Improving motors
* Improving refrigeration systems

Under Minnesota's Conservation Improvement Plan (CIP), Minnesota customers are eligible for additional rebates, including:
* commercial refrigeration
* commercial water heating
* thermal storage
* commercial refrigeration
* commercial/industrial lighting
* motors/ASDs

Otter Tail Power Company - DollarSmart Energy Efficiency Loan Program

Otter Tail Power Company's DollarSmart Financing Program offers $150 - $7,000 loans to residential customers and up to $100,000 loans to its business customers. In addition, residential customers are eligible for financing up to $20,000 for geothermal heat pump installations and $15,000 for the installation of combination electric systems. Customers may use the 8.5% Competitive Rate Plan to finance purchases of new electric technologies, including:
* Electric heating applications
* Complete dual fuel systems
* Electric cooling applications

Otter Tail Power Company Rebate Program offers rebates to qualifying residential customers for the installation of high-efficiency equipment upgrades. Owatanna Public Utilities - Solar Rebate Program

Owatanna Public Utilities provides incentives for their residential and commercial customers to install photovoltaic (PV) and solar water heating systems. Qualifying PV systems can earn $1 per watt; eligible solar water heating systems can earn $15 per square foot of collector area.

In order to obtain eligibility, customers must agree to a net-metering and interconnection contract with Owatanna Public Utilities. An energy audit must be performed prior to system installation and results shared with OPU.

Owatonna Public Utilities - Residential Conserve and Save Rebate Program

Owatonna offers incentives to residential customers who install energy-efficient equipment in homes through the Conserve and Save Rebate Program. Pertinent information on all programs is available on the Conserve and Save Rebate Application. Rebates on water heaters, boilers and furnaces are only available to customers who buy both electricity and natural gas from Owatonna Public Utilities. Equipment rebates for refrigerators, freezers and room air conditioners can be increased by properly recycling previously used, working units.
